UK Gigabit Broadband Voucher

This national scheme provides future-proof Gigabit-capable connections for businesses and the homes around them. Businesses can claim up to £4,500 against the cost of connection either individually or as part of a group project. Residents can benefit from the scheme as part of a group project which also includes businesses and can also claim for a voucher of up to a value of £4,500. The Council also funds a parallel top-up scheme, available as part of the gigabit voucher scheme, that could double the funding contribution if specific criteria are met such as the premises rurality and the current available Internet speeds. In some cases, residents/businesses may be required to contribute some funding to the work if the voucher funding does not sufficiently offset commercial delivery costs.

Please note, new voucher projects within the East Riding of Yorkshire are currently on hold until the procurement for Project Gigabit has been completed.
