Broadband East Riding Roll-out update September 2016

Phase one of the Broadband East Riding programme roll-out went to more than 42,000 households and businesses. 

The phase two roll-out has now gone to more than 1,000 properties in Bridlington, Aldbrough, Keyingham, Leven, Skirlaugh, Burton Pidsea, Goole, Howden, North Cave, Skipsea, Stamford Bridge and Wetwang.

By June 2017, phase two will have reached more than 4,500 properties across the county.

Among the next to benefit will be homes and businesses in the Rawcliffe and Eastrington areas.

The latest cabinets to go live include: 

Bishop Wilton 3

Melbourne 3 

Keyingham 10

Thwing 3

Bubwith 10

(Please note this is not an exhaustive list, work will be taking place across the county).

Residents and businesses may also be entitled to a voucher, up to the value of £350, which can help cover the costs to install alternative broadband technologies, such as satellite and wireless via The Better Broadband Subsidy Scheme.
