FREE Broadband Business Support Introductory Event

For more information about what Broadband Business Support has to offer, please join us for a FREE 2 hour Business Support Taster Session which will include an eye opening presentation, information concerning the programme and an opportunity to sign up for our FREE business support programme.

The Event is being held at The Courtyard in Goole on Wednesday 21st May 2014 at 6pm until 8pm and light refreshments will also be served free of charge. There will also be time to network with other like-minded businesses.

The Broadband Business Support Programme helps eligible businesses to learn about, and exploit the opportunities that digital technologies and fibre-optic broadband present.

The programme includes the expertise and guidance of a dedicated Business Adviser providing one-to-one advice, combined with an external IT diagnostic report, highlighting strengths, weaknesses and an action plan to take forward. Various workshops and training courses are also been provided that cover a range of topics devised to get the most out of being connected and to assist with business growth.

IT consultant Richard Hale has saved thousands on fuel bills and slashed his annual commute by more than 20,000 miles – thanks to the Broadband East Riding programme.

Self-employed Richard said existing broadband speeds to his home in Bridlington were so slow he was forced to make a 140 mile commute to offices in York and Leeds to connect with clients.
